Half day dmorning tour: 8- 12  am. This tour offers the nice cool morning weather and less chances of rain during the rainy season.

Half day sunset tour: 2 – 6  pm. The sunset tour besides also includes watching the sunset from onboard the boat.

Full day private charter: 10 – 6  pm. The full day charter is the crown jewel of our private tours. 8 hours of snorkeling, ocean, swimming, beach, paddle boarding. It also includes a full bbq lunch.

Half day tour
You can book the half day tour either in the morning from 8 to 12, or in the afternoon from 2 to 6. It includes snorkeling, paddle boarding (in some cases), fishing rod, as well as open bar with good liquors and light meals. You will visit a beautiful site where you can swim in the sea, snorkel or explore the fauna under the surface of the sea.

Full day tour
The full day tour departs in the morning at 10 am and returns at 6 pm. You will enjoy watching the enchanting sunset from the deck of the boat. It includes, exploring remote beaches and bays, snorkeling, paddle boarding (in some cases), as well as fishing rods for fishing throughout the duration of the tour. Additionally, the full day tour includes a delicious full lunch. It is a fantastic full day expedition for those who want to explore the natural area of the beautiful Guanacaste coast.

Multi-day tour
You can book a sailboat, catamaran or luxury yacht charter from 2 days and 1 night to 3 days and 2 nights or more. Some of the routes we suggest for multi-day tours are Playa Naranjo or Roca Bruja, Potrero Grande, or sailing south to Santa Teresa, sleeping off the coast of Nosara.

Langosta Beach

Playa Langosta is a beautiful beach, under conservation, located south of Playa Tamarindo. It is an important nesting site for several species of sea turtles, including Leatherback and Olive Ridley turtles.
Playa Langosta extends from the south of Tamarindo to border with other remote and desolate beaches as well. It is a beautiful and wonderful site, with abundant tropical vegetation as well as a river mouth.

There basically three tours available for clients staying at Casa Chameleon and Las Catalinas:

Half day tours: 4 hours with snorkeling, beach exploring and enjoying sailing. Services include open bar, food items, snorkeling gear and paddle boards and fishing rods, the two later please request in advance.

Full day tour: The 8 hour full day tour is a fantastic ocean experience during which you will sail along the coast in search for a pristine and remote location. Places you visit might change according to the climate and under circumstances, but they are always amazing places. Snorkeling is also included, as well as in some cases paddle boards and fishing rods. Food items ( light food ), open bar and a full BBQ lunch is also part of the full day trip.

Overnight Sailing: You can also book a 2 days sailing charter or even a 3 days sailing charter. Some routes we recommend is heading north to the Guanacaste Conservation area, or south, to places like Nosara, Santa Teresa and Mal Pais.

If conditions permit, we can even pick you up directly from Dantas Beach, in front of the hotel, and if the swell is a little rough, just 15 minutes away is the Flamingo Marina, where boarding our sailboats or yachts is easy, fast, comfortable and safe.

Best tours from Hotel Santarena

Half day charter

The half day charter can leave in the morning from 8 am and return at noon. It includes 4 hours of fun, nature and fascinating scenery. The tour includes open bar, food items, snorkeling and in some cases paddle boards. Also some catamarans have a fishing pole in the back.

Full day charter.

The full day sailing charter consists of 8 hours of nature, visiting pristine and remote regions, beautiful beaches and snorkeling somewhere perfect for it. Some catamarans also carry fishing rods. Includes BBQ lunch, which in some cases takes place in some remote and pristine beaches. Same as the half day tour includes open bar, light food items, snorkeling.
